Human resources Administrator

 

PURPOSE

To have responsibility for the Administration of all aspects of the training programme for the organisation in a Health and Social Care setting. 

To maintain high quality training and ensure the effective running of the training programme to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.

To undertake the administration of all recruitment, including the recruitment process, handling of contracts and DBS applications.

To manage the booking system for the training and community rooms.

 

ACCOUNTABLE TO:  Finance Manager

 

PRINCIPLE TASKS:

Training

Maintain an organisational Workforce Development Plan; co-ordinate the implementation of the annual training plan, ensuring that all mandatory training is monitored, flagged up when required and organised and planned in advance 

Ensure the provision of a programme that facilitates all competencies being completed appropriately, both for new staff and for all staff on an annual basis. Co-ordinate all training for the organisation

Support the Management Team to identify suitable ways of facilitating/delivering training locally with qualified individuals in the most cost-effective way, internally and externally, including researching potential training opportunities and funding

Liaise via Supervisors with all staff over training & personal development needs

Maintain all paper and computer records in relation to training, including staff files, and legislative requirements

Support training courses by preparing materials, equipment and setting-up rooms

Be responsible for co-ordination of the induction of staff including planning and preparation of materials, and co-ordination of presenters/sessions

Manage booking system for training and community rooms

 

Human Resources

To provide administrative support in all aspects of the recruitment and selection of staff, including co-ordinating recruitment processes; liaising with managers on reference, preparation of contracts and DBS checks

Ensure appropriate systems are in place for the supervision, appraisal, probation tracking, staff meetings and development of all staff

To work with Field Care Supervisors, facilitate their policy meetings and monitor all tracking systems i.e. for supervisions, team meetings and spot checks

To work as part of a team, providing flexible support and cover as required

Policies

Implement methods to provide all staff with policy updates and updates to the staff handbook, ensuring they understand and implement all policy requirements

Ensure all aspects of the training plan comply with the policy framework

 

Other Tasks

To work within the philosophy and ethos of the organisation.  Adhere to all policies and procedures, codes and standards, including health and safety regulations and quality standards at all times

To ensure that equality and diversity principles are applied at all times

To participate in personal training, supervision and performance reviews

To undertake any other duties commensurate with the post holder’s grade as requested by the Chief Executive or Finance Manager
