A rare and rewarding position has become available in our Emergency Support Team!!
Our Emergency Care Support Workers (ECSW) work with families for up to 3 days and up to 12 hours a day. During this time the ECSW complete a support plan and risk assessments, support the client with whatever they need. During this time the ECSW will also look at other ways the family may need support and make referrals to relevant agencies.
The Role: Working a Pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off from 8am to 9pm including a one hour unpaid break. Working throughout Kirklees district with clients in their own home. When you are not on an Emergency call you will be based from our Huddersfield office catching up on paperwork and supporting the promotion of the organisations services.
The ideal candidate: You will have a minimum of 3 years experience working in the Social Care sector and will hold a minimum Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification. You will have experience of preparing Support plans and risk assessments and be willing to travel anywhere within the Kirklees district with a full UK Driving licence and your own vehicle insured for business use. You will have experience with a range of IT products including Word, Excel, Outlook and databases. You will be a caring person who understands the needs of Social Care clients and be familiar with other Kirklees Professionals and organisations involved in the social care sector.
