Carers Trust in Mid Yorkshire will:
Time for You
Taking a regular break can mean the difference between you being able to continue caring or no longer being able to manage. A regular break can take the pressure off, you can plan and go out to a regular activity or just to have that time to shop in peace or re-connect with family or friends. It can assist you to remain or get back into employment.
What we do
We will carry out any tasks for the person that you care for, that you would normally do, (within the bounds of health and safety). You can then go out with peace of mind knowing that the person you care for is being well looked after. The care plan may include any of the following.
- Meal Preparation
- Assistance with eating and drinking
- Assistance with all aspects of continence
- Assistance with medication
- Assistance with mobility
- Light domestic duties
- Support for activities outside the home
- Support to attend appointments
Carers Trust in Mid Yorkshire recognises the diversity and levels of complexity with all types of disability. Each care plan will reflect individual needs which can include specialised medical tasks if required.
In addition to ‘caring’ we will be a friend to those that we care for, providing company, stimulation and sharing suitable activities with them.
We will visit you at home to design a service to suit you, for more information, please call 01484 537036 or email info@CTMY.org.uk .
